A very warm welcome to ‘The Prestwick Chanti Wrastlers’ light hearted web-site that contains totally unimportant information on a disparate group of friends who are regular members of an Old Scottish Golf Club, that of Prestwick St. Cuthbert founded in 1899.

This site should firstly be seen as an essential aid to the flagging ego, failing memory & false sense of golfing ability of the individuals making up our Group, secondly and perhaps more importantly as an indication to younger golf addicts that there are many hilarious and treasured moments ahead of them in playing this game and enjoying the social aspect of these occasions.

This is true for us in the seemingly endless humour provided by our members 'gaffs', natural wit and faux-pas both on and off the course.

Therefore this site is intended to be informative, to anyone daft enough to read it, and to post on the Internet some gentle fun stemming from the human frailties displayed by each of us at some time or other. Also to record such photographic evidence & inept scoring of our many visits to the magnificent golf courses in this Country.

We have in the past experienced many happy moments enjoying the wonderful facilities provided at these courses and hopefully we will continue to find pleasure in playing them and also to apply some of the 'Genial Banter' regularly indulged in when at our home Club of Prestwick St.Cuthbert.
